About Coach

I grew up in a very active, outdoorsy family who loved skiing, backpacking, and hiking. While in my younger years, I didn’t appreciate these things too much, now, these are some of my favorite activities. Growing up I didn’t play many sports, and I actually hated PE. Being athletic was just “not my thing” and I didn’t understand the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle. I would work out here and there but never remained consistent because I didn’t have any fitness goals or direction in my workouts. During my senior year of high school, I had an amazing P.E. teacher who inspired me to really commit to working out and improving my health. She made me see it as something I get to do rather than something I dread. I remember getting an award for that class and being told I was one of the hardest-working students she’s had. Although it might not sound like a big deal, I remember to this day how that made me feel and how it affected me going forward with my fitness journey. I now live knowing how much of a blessing it is to be able to move your body and all the many benefits that go along with it. Finding my “why” for working out was a game changer. There are so many different “whys”. For me, it was the mental clarity it gave me as well as the sense of purpose I got from it, being a 17-year-old who didn’t yet have many passions or goals.

Turning Point

My turning point was in high school when my health was at an all-time low. I struggled for years with all kinds of physical pain and discomfort, a lot of it due to not taking proper care of my health, which in turn left me drained mentally and caused me to just kind of “get by”. It limited my ability to do the things I loved to do. This affected my relationships, efforts in school, and my overall sense of worth and well-being. It was then that I decided I needed to make a change, so I began weightlifting at my little high school gym, which I began to really enjoy and noticed it was helping my mental health drastically. I also started prioritizing my nutrition and cardiovascular health. In just a few months, I felt like a completely different person. I never wanted to go back. My own experience dealing with poor health has inspired me to want to help others to feel good in their skin and be able to do the things they love without anything holding them back!

Motivation & Passion

I’m excited and passionate about helping others build a healthy lifestyle. Whatever your goal may be, I want to make a difference in your life by helping you feel strong and capable. I want to get you excited about your health and fitness and help you understand the freedom that comes with it.
